| Dallas Puckett, Sr.
founded Valley Nut and Bolt Company in 1969. Prior to this, Dallas had
been a
fastener product sales representative. Shortly after starting the
company his son, Dallas Puckett, Jr., joined him in the business and, in the early 70's, they relocated the company
to its current home just south of the Olympia Airport.
Having begun as a
fastener sales and distribution company operating out of rented
warehouse space the Pucketts saw the potential, in their new facility,
to expand into custom steel product manufacturing. With the
acquisition of a metal stamping company, hot forging, and
induction-heating and upsetting equipment along with numerous lathes, threaders, presses, and other equipment Valley Nut and Bolt has grown
into a steel product manufacturing and fastener
distribution company with 35 employees and a history of growth and
customer satisfaction.
With it's mission
to create an atmosphere where it's
employees will prosper as they provide quality products and services
to customers, Valley Nut and Bolt services customers in the following
markets:
equipment service and repair,
construction, manufacturing, timber, paper, shipping, mining, food and
beverage, canneries, food processing, recreation, underground utility,
utility infrastructure, and others.
